Officially the Republic of Palau, it is a small island country in Micronesia, made up of eight main islands and more than 250 small islets and atolls of rare beauty, in the Pacific Ocean, between the seas of the Philippines to the west and north, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea and the Federated States of Micronesia.

The most important islands are Angaur, Babeldaob, Koror and Peleliu, near the northern tip, all surrounded by a barrier reef. Palau is one of the most spectacular snorkelling and diving destinations in the world, due to the abundance and richness of its underwater life.

Coral reefs, Blue Holes, wartime shipwrecks, hidden caves and tunnels, rare fish and marine creatures and some miracles of evolution: giant molluscs weighing 250kg. Imagine diving into the turquoise waters and observing more than 1,500 different species of fish and over 700 species of coral!
